Khalil Bedart-Ghani wins this week's CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after helping the men's basketball team earn a pair of wins at the Vanguard Thanksgiving Classic last weekend. The Toros posted wins over Shepherd and San Diego Christian over the holiday.

Bedart-Ghani dropped in 20 points and grabbed an impressive 18 rebounds in the two starts he made. He also went 9-for-10 on the free throw line. In addition, he dished out nine assists and took away four basketballs. 

He set season-highs in points and rebounds over the weekend, scoring 13 against Shepard and went to the glass 13 times against San Diego Christian.

A native of Inglewood, the junior transfer has started all but two of his four appearances and is averaging 7.3 points and seven rebounds per game.
