Morelia Castro wins her first CSUDH Athlete of the Week award this season after leading the Toros to an upset win at second-place Cal State LA Friday.

In addition to leading the Toros on the night Castro matched her career-high 15 kills and was credited for three block assists and had a dig on the night. The last time she made 15 kills in one match was against Montana State Billings last season.

Castro has appeared in 64 sets and is averaging a .159 attack percentage. She also has 49 total blocks including two solo attempts.
