Gleason earned this year's CSUDH Dr. Hal Chanofsky Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year after holding a 3.64 GPA as a criminal justice major while earning placement on the CCAA and Toro honor rolls since he became a Toro.

Gleason is a two-time PGA Minority Collegiate Champion and walked at this year's commencement while averaging a 5-over par on the course this year.
