Sophomore sprinter Mariah Walker cut nearly half a second off her season best time in the 200 meter dash to lead the Cal State Dominguez Hills track and field team at Saturday's UC Irvine hosted Steve Scott Invite, the last tune-up before next week's CCAA Championship.

Walker crossed the line in a time of 25.59, eclipsing her 26.06 set at the SFSU Distance Carnival on April 2.

She then anchored her 4x1 squad to a 4th-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay behind Division I programs in UNLV and the host Anteaters.
