After helping lead the baseball team to a 3-1 weekend over No. 8 UC San Diego last weekend, senior third baseman Brady Conlan was named this week's CSUDH Athlete of the Week.
Conlan went 13-for-19 (.684) in the series with the Tritons, adding three doubles and a home run. In addition to scoring five runs, he also drove in five. He delivered the hit that drove in the eventual winning runs in game four's 2-0 win to lock the series for the Toros.
In addition to his performance over the weekend, Conlan is also on a 13-game hitting streak. He has started all 17 of his appearances and is leading the ballclub in batting average (.471), home runs (2), runs scored (19) and is tied for the lead in RBI (15).
