Butler was solid as the Toros suffered a pair of road defeats at the hands of No. 21 UC San Diego and perennial power CS San Bernardino.

The senior guard/forward tallied a team-best 16 points in the loss at UCSD, shooting 6 of 13 from the floor while hitting half of his six 3-point attempts.

The next night in the heartbreaker at CSUSB, Butler hit 5 of his 11 attempts from the floor while dropping in 14 points, nailing 3-of-4 from the free throw line with one steal.

Overall, Butler connected for 45.8% of his shots from the floor while averaging 15 points and 5.5 rebounds, chipping in 2 steals and a block.
