Golson led the Toros to a sweep of the CCAA's elite teams, including No 5 Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday. Â He led all players in scoring each game, averaging 24.5 points, 5 assists, 1 assist and 0.5 blocks per game.
Against Humboldt State on Friday, Golson went for a career-high 26 points shooting 50% from the floor, netting 11-of-12 from the foul line in the overtime thriller.
He then upped his game when the team needed it most against the Broncos, hitting 8-of-13 (61.5%) and 4-of-5 free throws, dropping 23 points int he win against the cream of the league.
Golson finished shooting 55.6% from the floor and 88.2% from the foul line in sweeping the toughest homestand of the year.
