Heins was instrumental as the Toros picked up their first CCAA win of the year in a 5-set thriller over Cal State Monterey Bay last Tuesday.

In the match, the sophomore went for a team-high 13 kills to lead four Toros in double-figure putaways, also tallying 2 blocks in the match.

For the week, Heins averaged 2.10 kills per set and added 3 blocks.
