Men's basketball senior Tyler Payne was named the CSUDH Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year to conclude the 2014-15 season for his stellar work in the classroom.

Payne graduated from CSUDH this past May after holding a 3.76 GPA as a business administration major, and has been on the Toro and CCAA honor rolls since becoming a Toro two years ago.
