In the final start of his career in Toro Field, senior Winston Lavendier made it a memorable "Senior Day" as he pitched a career game in a 1-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino to kick off the day's twinbill, fanning a career-high 10 Coyotes without issuing a walk as the Toros clinched the fourth and final bid in next week's CCAA Tournament.

Lavendier allowed just one runner to reach third on a stolen base while limiting the Coyotes to just eight singles. Lavendier also helped himself defensively by picking off a pair of runners, including one in the ninth with one out. The southpaw grew stronger as the game progressed en route to his 114 net pitches, with 83 going for strikes.
