Talyer played like a champion as the Toros won their home opener against St. Martin's last week in a 68-63 decision.

The senior nailed 7-of-10 shots from the field including 4-of-7 from 3-point land, finishing with 22 points.  She also added 5 boards and a steal in a win that wasn't as close as the score indicated.
