Alfaro was key as the Toros swept through their weekend opponents, and in the process moved into sole possession of third place in the CCAA standings with three games left in the regular season.

The junior team co-captain helped stymie the Humboldt State offense into just two shots in Friday's 2-0 win, and then helped kickstart his team's comeback against arch-rival Sonoma State by playing forward and heading CSUDH's first goal of the match to cut SSU's lead to 2-1.
