Garcia was a cool breeze over the weekend in helping lead the Toros to the CCAA Tournament Championship, also being named to the all-tournament team in the process.
The sophomore guard averaged 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals over the weekend, shooting .360 from the floor, .400 from 3-point land and .895 from the foul line in the three games.
Exhibiting solid play the entire weekend, her most indelible moment came in Saturday's title game against top-seeded Cal Poly Pomona when she took a hard foul on a breakaway, composed herself and calmly sank two free throws to provide the weekend's most inspirational and motivational moment en route to the program's 4th CCAA Championship.
