Tayler played like a, well, champion as the Toros completed a sweep of the Bay schools to claim sole possession of second place in the CCAA.
After going for 12 points in the 75-62 win over Monterey Bay on Friday, Champion was clutch in Satuday's win over East Bay, with whom the Toros were tied heading into the night's match-up.
She ended with 13 points, with six coming on two 3-pointers down the stretch, including her final one that gave the Toros the lead for good with just under 3 minutes left after CSUDH trailed by 17 with 13:51 left in the game.
Overall, she averaged 12.5 points and 6 boards, adding 4 assists, a steal and a block to her statline.
