Champion began her tournament with game-highs of 23 points and 11 boards, adding 2 steals and a block while shooting 56% from the floor and 38% from downtown.
The next day against the Knights, Champion went for 22 points with 16 boards, both game-high totals again, while draining 42% of her shots from the floor, 40% from 3-point land and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Overall, she averaged 22.5 points and 13.5 boards per game while converting nearly 50% of her shots from the floor (48.6%) and 38.5% of her attempts from downtown, also adding a pair of steals, a block and an assist to her statline.
