Brownie scored the Toros' lone goal of the weekend as CSUDH forged a 1-1 double-overtime draw against No. 17 UC San Diego on Friday.

After a scoreless first half, the Toros were awarded a penalty kick opportunity in the 66th minute, and Covarrubias made UCSD pay as he nestled his shot past its keeper amidst a crowd of 379 spectators dressed in blue and gold.

With the tie, CSUDH remained in the hunt for a berth in the CCAA postseason, and enhanced its chances to be ranked in the NCAA region poll, due out this week.
