Recorded another provisional mark in the 100-Meter Hurdles to lead the Toros at the Pomona-Pitzer Track & Field Invitational. Fitchett grabbed a first place finish in the race with a time of 13.94, which was well below the provisional mark of 14.65 and ahead of runners from Azusa Pacific, Cal State San Marcos, Southern Utah. In fact the closest Division II athlete checked in with a time over two seconds behind, at 16.03. The Los Angeles native also had a strong showing in the 200-meter dashing, finishing fourth with a time of 24.85.
