Stephanie enjoyed a monster weekend as the Toros swept past CS Monterey Bay in Seaside last weekend, to stay in the hunt for a berth in the CCAA Tournament in two weeks.

Jimenez posted a 3-0 record with a 0.59 ERA in 4 appearances, fanning 25 batters against just two walks and 2 earned runs allowed.  Opposing hitters batted just .190 against her over the weekend.

The Norwalk native set the stage in the opening game, fanning 10 batters against zero walks, bettering that effort a day later with 11 Ks against zero walks in an 11-inning marathon win.

JImenez allowed 16 hits in 23.2 innings pitched, averaging better than a strikeout per inning.
