Sanchez set and tied a CSUDH single game record last weekend as the Toros split their four-game set against last year's NCAA runner-up in UC San Diego.

The junior slugger hit .400 in the four games with a 1.000 slugging percentage, establishing a CSUDH record for most home runs in single season, while tying a Toro single game mark by hitting 2 home runs in a game, the last a laser opposite field grand slam after a tape-measure shot an inning earlier that nearly cleared the hill behind Toro Diamond.
