Chavez had a monster weekend as the Toros swept San Francisco State to remain atop the CCAA standings.

The junior shortstop batted .636 (7-for-11) with four extra base hits, including 3 home runs.  Of those three HRs, Chavez nearly hit for the home run cycle as she belted a 2-run blast, a 3-run shot and a grand slam en route to 15 RBI and a whopping 1.545 slugging percentage.

She also walked thrice and was hit by a pitch once to give her a .733 on-base percentage for the weekend series.
