Matthew had a productive weekend against the Gators in the opening CCAA series, batting .500 with a team-best 8 hits and six runs scored.

The junior transfer also belted a home run and was a perfect 5-of-5 in stolen base attempts that included steals of second and third on consecutive pitches in the series finale against SFSU.  The center fielder also recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 11 opportunities.
