Torres led the Toros to their season-opening win against Oregon Tech on Friday, tossing 5.0 innings of 3-hit, shutout ball in the win.

The Torrance native fanned four Owls against no walks in the win, facing just three batters (18) over the minimum 15 for a 5.0 inning game.
