Heard started off the 2012 year right with a couple of double-digit nights to help the Toros gain their first CCAA win of the season. 
 
She was instrumental in the 43-40 win over the Seawolves with a season-high of 12 points and six rebounds.  The Long Beach native then added 10 more points and three rebounds on the weekend in the 65-60 loss to the Lumberjacks.
 
For the weekend, Heard shot 4-for-5 from the foul line and made 8-of-23 from the floor.  She also was able to sink 1-of-4 from the arch.
