Van was one of the bright spots in CSUDH's season-opener at cross-town rival Cal State L.A., pouring in a team-high 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor that included a near-perfect 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.

The Los Angeles native also pulled down a team-high 5 boards and contributed a steal and an assist in 32 minutes of action.
