Picked up the first Toros' win of the season, tossing a complete-game 5-hitter against Cal State San Marcos in the double header nightcap on Saturday. The Redondo Beach native allowed just one earned run in the win, fanning 4 against just one walk. He retired the side in order twice, and faced just four batters in two other innings, finishing the game strong by retiring the final four batters he faced in the game. In the contest, the control specialist threw 109 total pitches, with 73 accounting for strikes (66.9% for strikes).
