In game one Friday, he went 5-for-5 with two runs, three RBIs and set a new CSUDH record with four doubles in a single game. Over a three games to one series victory against No. 18 Cal State L.A., Pillar went 8-for-17 with five doubles, a home run, five runs, five RBIs, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and had seven putouts. That totals 16 total bases, giving him a weekend batting average of .471, on-base % of .526 and a slugging % of .941.
