Led the Toros on both the offensive and defensive ends as CSUDH took 3-of-4 from Cal State Monterey Bay to open CCAA Conference play last weekend. In the batter's box, Martinez went 7-for-11 (.636) with a home run, a double, 4 RBI, 2 intentional passes and a 1.000% slugging percentage as CSUDH went 3-1 on the week. She was even better on the mound in tossing all 26.0 innings in the four games. On the weekend, Martinez boasted a no-hitter, a 1.35 ERA, and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of nearly 3:1 (14 strikeouts, 5 walks).
