McEwen continued her hot hitting as CSUDH swept a four-game set at San Francisco State last weekend, batting .545 with 2 home runs, 6 RBI, 4 runs scored and a whopping 1.182 slugging percentage.

After her team was shut out over the first five innings of play in the opener, McEwen started the 8-run sixth with a walk on four pitches to lead off the frame, eventually getting another at-bat with the bases juiced later that inning and belting a grand slam to put the icing on the game one win, before drawing a walk in game two’s pitcher’s duel.

The next day, McEwen drew two walks in her first two at-bats during which the Toros were held scoreless, before her third at-bat in which she belted a solo shot to tie the game in the 5^th in getting the 2-run rally started.

McEwen then concluded the series with a 3-hit performance, capped by three singles all hit to the right side after SFSU tried to keep the ball out of her power zone, scoring twice in the process.

Overall, McEwen reached base 10 times in 15 at-bats including her four walks, also leading the Toros in hits, home runs, RBI and slugging percentage as CSUDH swept its first four-game league road series of the year.
