Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics

            Cox showed his overall game last weekend in a sweep over upstart CS Monterey Bay and contender San Francisco State as he notched team bests in both points and rebounds.

            Against a double-teaming Monterey Bay club, Cox collected 9 boards to make up for his below-average output, notching 15 of his 26 minutes in a pivotal second half to help fend off the Otters.

            The next night, Cox took the Toros on his shoulders en route to a career-high 30 points, that including 12-of-13 shooting from the foul line, and a perfect 5-for-5 in the second half.  Cox nailed 9-of-13 shots from the field and pulled down 8 boards, showing the versatility that has made him one of the elite power forward in the league.

            Overall, Cox made 60% of hi shots and 80% of his free throws as CSUDH kept its destiny firmly in its own hands as the rematch with league-leader Humboldt State looms next week.
