Davis was a superb floor general for the Toros last weekend in leading the 10^th-ranked team in the nation to a sweep over San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay, making history in the process.

After scoring seven first-half points en route to a slim 33-32 halftime lead, Davis tallied 12 points in the second half in helping the Toros pull away from the pesky Gators, finishing with a game-high 19 points and 4-of-7 from 3-point land.

The next night, Davis tied for team-high honors with 13 points, but showed his leadership with not only his 4 assist/0 turnover statline, but also with 5 boards, good for second best on the team as CSUDH held on for a 79-70 win over the Otters to move them to 11-1 on the year, the best start in the program’s history over the first 12 games.

Overall, Davis averaged 16 points, 4 assists and 3 boards, boasting a 4:1 assist-to-turnover ratio as well as sinking 80% of his free throw shots, 50% of his threes and 40.7% of his attempts from the field as CSUDH remained tied atop the league standings.
