Murphy was instrumental in helping the Toros come within one point of qualifying for the upcoming CCAA tournament, tallying 3 goals and an assist, and making sure her CSUDH seniors went out in style to close their Toro careers.

The junior All-American began her week by assisting on the game-winning goal during Friday’s Homecoming, later adding 2 scores herself in the 3-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona.

Two days later, after honoring its 6 seniors, Murphy sealed the come-from-behind win with the golden goal at 97:35 after the Toros fell behind 2-0, sending her teammates out with a victory on “Senior Day.”

Overall, Murphy played a role in 66.7% of her team’s goals, sending 53.3% of her shots on frame as the Toros swept their final homestand of the regular season.
