            Murphy made quite an impact in her 2010 debut, collecting 3 goals as the Toros went 2-0 during a key CCAA weekend.

            After suffering an injury during preseason that kept her out of the lineup until this weekend, the Torrance native scored the equalizer on Friday against a game CS Monterey Bay squad just 55 seconds into the second half to jump-start her team to an eventual 2-1 win.

            Then, Murphy took matters onto her own feet two days later, scoring both goals in the 2-1 win over San Francisco State after the Gators came in on a high after toppling No. 7 CSULA two days earlier.

            Murphy sent 6 of her 11 shots on goal for the weekend in her first action since the 2009 NCAA Title game, pushing her team to two wins and into a three-way tie atop the south division.
