Angel’s offense fueled the Toros’ taking 3-of-4 at CS San Bernardino with a torrid performance at the plate as CSUDH vaulted into 3^rd place in the CCAA Conference.

            The Toros’ clean-up hitter did just that against the Coyotes, cleaning up with five hits in eight at-bats, while boasting a 1.375 slugging and .800 on-base percentage that included 7 walks.

            The Los Angeles native began her weekend by hammering a game-tying home run in the opener as one of her two hits, a blast that tied her for the CSUDH record for home runs in a career, before belting another home run in the nightcap that gave her the record and the Toros the lead for good in the romp.

            The next day, Angel walked in her first three at-bats, before delivering a single in her fourth and final plate appearance of the contest, while drawing an RBI walk in her first plate appearance of the nightcap.

            Overall, Angel led her team to the three wins, and sole possession of 3^rd place in the CCAA after her offensive showcase that included a .625 BA, 1.375 SLG%, .800 OB%, 5 RBI, 3 runs and two home runs that etched her name into the CSUDH career record books.
