Kevin Logan broke out as a freshman this past week, with 6 total hits and two doubles the starting left fielder belted a hit in each game and brought in five RBIs to help the Toros to a four-game series sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay.

Logan was also smart on the bags, going 4-of-4 in his stolen base attempts, one in each game and the only Toro to grab a steal in each game.

Logan’s best outing came in the second game, in a 14-4 win over the Otters Logan belted a hit in his first at-bat and as a 2RBI single he drove in the first two runs for the Toros. Logan also ended scoring for the Toros, smashing a 2RBI double before scoring the final run of the game.

Other highlights for Logan include two multiple-hit efforts and bringing in runs in two of four games while scoring in three.

After the weekend Logan now leads his team in stolen bases (13-of-15).
