One of the most dominating forces for the Toros at the dish in the past week, Kevin Pillar was also the most consistent Toro batter, logging a hit in all five of his appearances to stretch his game hit-streak to 22 straight, one short of tying the CSUDH all-time record.
Overall Pillar batted .429, going 9-of-21 with three multiple hit games. Pillar was also the only Toro to steal multiple bases on the week, going 2-of-2 on the bags.
Pillar's best day came in his final appearance, in both the seventh and eighth innings in an 11-12 loss to Cal State East Bay Pillar belted two two-RBI doubles and scored once, directly contributing to five of CSUDH's points.
In the outfield Pillar was perfect in his 18 attempts, keeping his fielding percentage at a flawless 1.000.
