The Woodland Hills native turned in a solid effort in the closeout game of a four-game series against San Francisco State, entering the game in a 6-6 tie to hold the visiting Gators scoreless for five straight innings, leading his team to a 9-6 win.

Fair faced three batters in two of his five innings of action, fanning two batters apiece in the seventh and eighth innings to highlight his first win of the season.

Fair also saw action in game one of the series, holding the Gators hit and runless for one complete inning after facing six batters.
