Cawthorne was instrumental in leading the Toros to an upset victory at 20th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona, dropping in 16 points and 6 boards in the 58-49 win.  The Orange native also was a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line, sinking all freebies in the final 2:13 of play to seal the victory that saw CSUDH get back into the thick of the CCAA standings.
