Piechota was named the MVP - Offense for the 2009 CCAA Champions after scoring the tying goal in both the semifinal against No. 22 CS San Bernardino to give the Toros their first win against the Coyotes in 2009, as well as the equalizer in the title game 3-2 2OT win against No. 15 Sonoma State after assisting on the first score.
