Murphy led the Toros to the fourth and final berth in the upcoming CCAA Championship Tournament after CSUDH swept its final CCAA road weekend at Cal State East Bay and No. 18 UC San Diego.  After single-handedly taking down the Pioneers by connecting on a penalty kick at the end of the first half and adding an assist in the 2-0 win on Friday, Murphy delivered the game-tying goal against the Tritons two days later, before her teammate won the contest in overtime to help clinch the final berth in the tournament.  Murphy scored 5 of the team’s 11 total points over the weekend, netting 50% of her team’s goals in the two wins.
