Carroll spelled relief last weekend as she picked up all three Toro wins against Cal State Monterey Bay in four relief appearances to vault the Toros to the top of the CCAA standings.
After making an appearance and tossing 2.2 innings in the game one loss, Carroll entered in the nightcap and kept the Otter bats at bay over 3.2 innings of work, allowing two hits but zero earned runs in the Toro come-from-behind win.
Carroll was at it again the next day as she threw another 3.2 innings of work while fanning four Otters for the win, before tossing 4.2 innings in the final game of the series, allowing just one hit.
Overall, Carroll boasted a perfect 0.00 ERA in four appearances, scattering six hits while fanning six batters without a single walk. She also limited CSUMB to a .125 batting average in picking up three wins in for games in relief.
