Neka Mixon, a 5-10 guard from Long Beach, was instrumental in Cal State Dominguez Hill’s first home game as her 23 points and 9 rebounds helped to keep the Toros undefeated streak going as they defeated the Eagles of Biola University 72-58. Shooting 5-8 in the paint and 2-6 beyond that, she tallied a .500 field goal percentage while also making 7 of her 8 free throw attempts.

Mixon’s 23 points on the night is only four shy of placing her name on on CSUDH’s top ten records of most points in a game. She has also tallied 57 points so far this season for an average of 19 a game.
