Gallaugher again stepped up big time on the offensive end as the defender scored multiple goals for the second time this season, this time in the game's final 15 minutes, to lead the Toros to a 5-3 win over visiting Cal State San Marcos last week.
After the pesky Cougars tied the game for the second time, this time at 3-3 in the 57th minute mark, it was defender Gallaugher who turned to his offense to put the game away for the 6th-ranked Toros.
Chosen to attempt a PK in the 75th minute, Gallaugher didn't disappoint as he beat the Cougar keeper for what would prove to be the game winner.
For good measure, Gallaugher ended any hopes of yet another CSUSM comeback attempt by notching an insurance goal with six seconds left in reguation, propelling the Toros to victory.
In all, Gallaugher took 5 shots, with 3 on goal, and 2 finding the back of the net as the Toros picked up their fourth-straight win.
