After the Toros tied Chico State in the 54th minute on Friday, Murphy notched the game-winner in the 84th minute on a picture-perfect one-timer, and added an insurance goal exactly 5 minutes later in CSUDH's 3-1 win.
Two days later, the freshman equalized against the Warriors, spurring CSUDH to its second-consecutive come-from-behind victory in a 2-1 decision over CSUS.
Murphy's goals, a game-winner and an equalizer, helped lead the Toros to their sixth- and seventh-consecutive wins as the Torrance native accounted for 60% of her team's goals on the weekend, with 54% of her 13 shots on goal, and 23% finding the back of the net.
