Deirdra Pettigrue, who finished fourth in the prelims with a time of 57.60, shattered her mark to capture the individual title with a time of 55.11, which is one of the top 10 fastest marks in the country this year.

Fresh off her championship run in the 400, Pettigrue anchored the 4 x 400 relay team comprised of Brigayle Iglehart, Janelle Millner, and Monique Joseph to turn in a season best performance and a provisional mark with a time of 3:50.82, taking second place behind UC San Diego.
