Ali had a strong offensive showing against No. 14 UC San Diego, and the Toros split the four-game series.
The Newbury Park native hit safely in all four games as he batted .529 (9-for-17) with six runs scored and nine RBI, while posting a whopping 1.235 slugging percentage.
Alia collected six extra base hits, including three doubles and three home runs, and totaled 21 total bases. He ended the series in impressive fashion as he went 2-for-4 with a run scored and six RBI.
