Senior Danny Tavares led the Toros to their first CCAA win of the season with a game-high 15 points in CSUDH's 50-47 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday.

With the Toros up 45-44, Tavares took a 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down that hit the rim, bounced back up and dropped through the net with just 42 seconds left to give CSUDH breathing room in the eventual 3-point victory.
