Three Toros from 2023-24 Season Turn Pro

CARSON – Following a standout 2023-24 season, Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball players Andre Ball, Jakob Alamudun, and Jacob Washington have signed contracts to play professional basketball.

Im very happy for Jakob, Andre, and Jacob. They have the opportunity to continue playing the game they love at the professional levels. Each of them, in addition to Jamal Howard, all mean so much to me and our program, and we are very thankful for the impact they made in our program. The opportunity to travel the world and learn new languages through the game of basketball is a beautiful thing, and I am confident all three will do very well as they propel their professional careers.

I learned a lot about myself during my time at DH, through the ups and downs I learned resilience and adaptability. I appreciate my years there greatly from all the staff and teammates I’ve shared the court with over the years and bonds that will last a lifetime. Overall, my experience at CSUDH not only honed my athletic skills and confidence but also helped equipped me with life skills that are invaluable as I transition into professional basketball.

Playing overseas has been a dream for a very long time. To actually have the opportunity to play is surreal. Cal State Dominguez Hills and Coach Becker really set me up for success in the pursuit to make this dream come true. For that I’m truly grateful and I hope to exceed all of my goals and expectations for the future.

My time at Cal State Domminguez Hills was a struggle at first especially with me not being able to play my first year. Coach Beck never stopped believing in me and he always gave me the confidence to keep competing and now it has paid off. I will always be thankful for Coach Beck and the Toros coaching staff for helping me get to where I want to be.
