All-Time Baseball Record Book

The Cal State Dominguez Hills Baseball Record book is your one-stop source for all Toros baseball records, game results and individual honors. The record book is produced and maintained by the CSUDH Sports Information Office.

The record book is updated throughout the playing season (February - May) on each Monday following a weekend of play.

  • Expanded All-American section to include player highlights
  • Completed FINAL updates for the 2010 final season statistics and individuals who appeared in the top-10 record lists
  • Added Matt Phillips (27, No. 8) to season top-ten lists for appearances
  • Added Carlos Leyva (52, No. 7) to season top-ten lists for runs scored
  • Added Kevin Pillar (22, No. 3) to season top-ten lists for doubles
  • Added Abel Medina (13, No. 5) to season top-ten lists for home runs
  • Added Kevin Pillar (230, No. 3) and Carlos Leyva (225, No. 6) to season top-ten lists for at-bats
  • Added the 2010 team's 65 double plays at the single-season record
  • Added the 2010 team's 381 strike outs as the single-season record
  • Kevin Pillar (89, No. 3) and Abel Medina (87, No. 5) added to season top-ten lists for hits
  • Abel Medina added to season top-ten lists for RBIs (61, No. 2)

  • Dean Benavidez's 9 assists in a game added to single-game record list
  • 2010 added to longest team season winning streak (12 games)
  • Consecutive game hit-streak record changed to 54 (Kevin Pillar)
  • Abel Medina's seven hits in a double-header added to record list
  • Vince Aguilar's no-hitter in 1991 expanded to show as a perfect game, 1 of 18 in NCAA D-II's history
  • Kevin Pillar & Matt Phillips's Wilson/CCAA Player & Pitcher of the Week added in 2010
  • Bret Montgomery's second Wilson/CCAA Pitcher of the Week added in 2010
  • Correctly attributed most strikeouts in a game to Rick Davis (17 vs. The Master's College, 2/11/89)
  • Bret Montgomery's first Wilson/CCAA Pitcher of the Week added in 2010
  • Bret Montgomery added to all-time pitching no-hitter list
  • Joe Nemeth and Fred Mitchell added to all-time draft list in 1981
  • Added stat line for All-Americans
