CARSON, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball continued its early-season surge Wednesday night, using a balanced scoring effort and a strong defensive presence to defeat Concordia Irvine, 75–63, inside the Torodome. The victory pushes the Toros to 4–2 on the year and extends their win streak to three straight.

The Toros controlled the game from the opening tip, putting up 34 first-half points before pulling away with 41 more after the break.

Josiah Sanders delivered a standout performance, leading all Toros with 18 points, while dominating the glass for a double-double with 10 rebounds. Sanders was efficient and relentless, going 6-for-12 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the line.

David Cheatom continued his strong stretch with 13 points, knocking down 6-of-8 shots and adding 6 rebounds.
DaSean Stevens contributed across the board with 9 points, 4 assists, and 3 boards, while Luke Lin added 8 points, 6 rebounds, and tied for a team-high 5 assists.

JJ Mitchell and Za-Ontay Boothman each provided key scoring bursts, combining for 14 points, including three made threes between them.
Off the bench, Tomi Adesiji added 5 points, and the Toros got contributions from up and down the lineup.

CSUDH's efficiency at the stripe proved crucial, hitting 21-of-26 free throws, while the defense forced 10 steals and held CUI to just four made threes.

The Toros also won the battle on the glass with a commanding 42–35 rebounding advantage, including 13 offensive boards that led to second-chance points.
