CARSON, Calif. — Cal State Dominguez Hills closed out its home slate in style Sunday afternoon, securing a 2–0 win over San Francisco State at Toro Stadium behind a balanced attack and a strong defensive performance.
Forward Coral Turner opened the scoring in the 20th minute, finding the back of the net to give the Toros an early advantage. CSUDH continued to press throughout the half, with Alexis Delgado and Kaylee Leavitt keeping the Gator defense under pressure.
In the second half, Delgado doubled the Toros' lead with a composed finish in the 70th minute, sealing the victory. Delgado led all players with three shots and two on target, while Kaila Tone recorded the assist.
Goalkeeper Audrey Haman anchored the back line with three saves to record her third clean sheet of the season. Defenders Isabella Ramirez, Celine Villaseñor, and Victoria Ulloa helped stifle San Francisco State's attack, limiting the Gators to just six total shots.
With the win, the Toros improve to 5–8–2 overall and 2–5–1 in CCAA play, earning their second straight result at home as they continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
The Toros return home next Friday at 4:30 pm vs Stanislaus State.
